On July 31, viewers can watch as the Green Beret and Texas Army National Guard soldier tries not to die on TV.

Tim Kennedy, also a former UFC fighter, stars in “Hard to Kill,” a new Discovery Channel show that’s “Dirty Jobs” meets “Fear Factor.”

The show puts Kennedy in some of these harrowing situations; as he put it, “We re-create it and see if I die.”
