Echo Nine Three has three sling mounts for the AK series of weapons; this is the third. We've already shown the other two, and after using them for awhile we can say they are well made and do their job well. Parkerized steel components without sharp edges make these pieces stand out from the "do it yourself" parts some people talk about. While 550 cord can work, in the big scheme of things if you can't afford $19.95, you probably can't afford the current prices of ammo either. This mount can be used for either side, and can be mounted facing either up or down. Configure it the way it works best for you, or check out the other two styles they also offer. We like these parts enough that we just loaned one out to a friend for an upcoming course, and we've got a feeling it might not get returned.
Note: I'll take a minute to point out that after installing and shooting these pictures, I also installed this with the loop facing up, and found it worked better for me.
