Karrimor is a UK based company which has been around since 1946, and has been designing and manufacturing packs since 1957.  While their presence has been strong in the UK and Europe, they aren't exactly a household name here in the USA.  Plan on that changing with the announcement of Karrimor SF now being built right outside Ft Lewis (JBLM) in Washington state.  Casey Ingels, Vice President of Tactical Tailor let us know the final details had been hammered out, and that Tactical Tailor was pleased to be handling the stateside manufacturing.  Don't expect to see Karrimor SF in the TT factory store though, as distribution of the Berry compliant Karrimor SF packs will be distributed through Grey Ghost Gear.  I don't see much shocking about that as Tactical Tailor has its own product line, and while OEM work is common when you are a large player, selling a pack that is loaded with features sitting next to your own pack is a quick way to water down your own lineup.

Over the next few days we will be giving a quick overview of the Karrimor SF packs shown below, or at least we will of the Hydro 30 (OD Green model), and the Sabre 45 (tan pack).  The Multicam pack is a factory prototype, and may or may not be the final version that hits the Grey Ghost Gear shelves.  We were asked not to shoot any close up pictures based on the idea pieces may be changed, but from our close up look, the stitching is solid and everything looks good to go.  We've got to give these packs back, but since I have a pack fetish (I kid I kid), I'll see about throwing 30 pieces of silver at someone and see if I can get a Hydro pack in black, as well as the Sabre 45.  Check out the upcoming overviews of these packs and you will see where I went with them, and why I like them.

We have no idea what pricing will be for the Berry compliant Karrimor SF lineup, so we are no help that way, maybe when the official press release comes out we'll get some more info.
