Once you've conquered Bob Thomas' 20-minute workouts, you can turn to the Sworkit app to generate more.

Sworkit, designed and built by Army Reserve Capt. Ryan Hanna, generates a workout based on how much time you have to devote to it. Choose your timeframe and which part of your body you want to target, and the app will take you through 30-second intervals of randomized exercises.

"It keeps people motivated and provides a tool to work out anywhere at anytime," Hanna wrote in an email.

Clear illustrations, workout stats, graphs and even quirky motivational messages ("Whoa, you been sworkin out?") make this a great addition to your smartphone. SworkitPro ($1) adds voice commands and a pause feature.
