The Army is examining a new training model for aviators as its helicopter fleet evolves into a complex network of manned and unmanned aircraft.
All 10 were released from the hospital after the mishap, which occurred Thursday on the training ranges at Naval Air Station Fallon in Nevada.
Two Army aviation battalions in Alaska will now fall under a local command, as the service looks to cement its capabilities in the High North.
The helicopter flight instructor was killed in the crash.
