President Donald Trump nominated Paul Lawrence to serve as the second-highest leader in the Department of Veterans Affairs.
As the 20th chief master sergeant of the Air Force, David Flosi becomes the primary enlisted adviser to the service’s secretary and chief of staff.
The Air Force is encouraging units to recognize the achievements of enlisted airmen as they become noncommissioned officers.
Flosi was the “clear choice” among the Air Force’s “most highly respected” enlisted leaders, the service said.
