The White House strongly suggested that Donald Trump benefited from Russians meddling in the U.S. election. The White House spokesman reminded people that the president-elect praised Vladimir Putin on the campaign trail. Press Secretary Josh Earnest told members of the media that the Russians hacked and leaked emails from the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, and not from the RNC or Steve Bannon. He also said members of Congress should stop hand-wringing and start investigating Russian ties to the election.
