Deployments are demanding on soldiers, airmen and their families, especially during the holidays. At the Exchange, we bring a taste of home to our men and women in uniform who are serving our nation, many times in desolate and dangerous locations far from family and friends.

Since 9/11, nearly 4,500 Exchange associates have voluntarily deployed to harsh, austere and war-torn locations. Today, the Exchange operates 11 retail, food and service facilities in Afghanistan, six in Iraq and 13 in Kuwait.

The Exchange is more than just a retailer on posts and bases. We are Family Serving Family — 85 percent of Exchange associates are personally connected to the military. Our workforce consists of veterans, spouses, sons and daughters, nephews and nieces, uncles and aunts, and grandparents of America’s warfighters.
