Battle Arms Development teased their new AR lower receiver a few weeks back, now there are details on a new upper and lower receiver posted on their updated website. The BAD556-LW Lightweight 7075-T6 billet receiver set is priced at $499 right now, with the upper and lower priced separately at $239 and $269, respectively. There’s no weight listed in the specs for the new receivers, so we’ll just have to take the presecne of the scalloped and reinforced areas, along with their word, that these are lighter than your average 7075 billet receiver.

B.A.D. has also listed new lightweight 16″ and 14.5″ .223 Wylde Ultramatch Lightrigid fluted, 416R stainless steel barrels for $469, each.
