A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft assigned to the 18th Aggressor Squadron takes off from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Oct. 6, 2014, during RED FLAG-Alaska 15-1. RF-A is a series of Pacific Air Forces commander-directed field training exercises for U.S. and partner nation forces, providing combined offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air support and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment. New patches from the mind of the monkey (Milspec Monkey).  There are loads of OBL shirts, patches and stickers floating around, but most of them read something along the lines of  “Die Die Die M#$!@(%^  F#$*&%”, which makes them less than suitable for some workplaces or church functions.  This patch is a bit more subdued, but gets the point across.  With the Twin Towers as a background, combined with the Pentagon and PA Keystone, this blends in the reasons for the start, as well as the radio transmissions that ended it all.
