Haley Strategic Partners just opened their web store and launched their first product line, their Adaptive Light Mounts.
The Dropwing and Thorntail mounts were designed to be lightweight, low profile and highly ergonomic weapon light mounts for a range of popular lights.
The Dropwing is designed to mount a weapon light without using a picatinny rail. It uses the space found at the 45s on a quad-rail while working perfectly with round hand guards like a VTAC/Troy Extreme Battle Rail (or, presumably, the Daniel Defense Modular Float Rail) and is ideal for short barrel rifles because it pushes the mount forward, freeing up a little space behind the light, as well as offsetting it so that it clears other mounted accessories up in the front of your handguard.
The Thorntail uses the same forward offset premise and applies it to a picatinny rail system.
Preorder them today for $50-$70 depending on the light body you want to mount. The bare mounts above work with Surefire M600 style Scout Lights. A separate ring adapter screws to the base mount for compatibility with most other round-bodied lights.
