Clearly, EOTech feels that their product line is solid and does not require major revision, for one of the few items they're introducing this year is the XPS2-Z, a zombie-themed version of the transverse-battery XPS holographic sight. In addition to being lasermarked with the biohazard logo, the reticle is also a biohazard logo. Yes, the "dot and circle" has been replaced with a biohazard symbol with a dot.
This photograph is not a very fair representation - the execution of the reticle was very clear and distinct, but the autofocus wasn't picking up the glass or reticle, so it appears blurry and indistinct. So if you're one of the zombie-crazed members of the firearm community, fear not - you can blast away to your heart's content with a clear biohazard reticle.
They're also introducing a smaller, lighter, easier to use - with adjustable focus - flip-to-side magnifier, but it's overshadowed by the zombie XPS.
