SureFire has a welcome addition to their Scout Light weaponlight lineup. The new M600P not only puts out 600 lumens but it also has a much wider beam pattern that comes from the Fury series head placed on the Scout Light body. Existing Scout Light heads used a tightly focused TIR lens to increase the range of the beam while the M600P provides a wider reflector-shaped beam that offers better situational awareness, especially when indoors.
The lights will come in two versions, the M600P ($349), above, that uses a simple thumbscrew to attach to Picatinny rail, and the M620P ($449) that uses a swing-lever clamp for secure, tool-less attachment to Picatinny rails.
