The U.S. Navy relocated hundreds of nonessential personnel from Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to Florida over the weekend.
The financial aid nonprofit will expand eligibility in January, the nonprofit’s CEO announced Tuesday.
From banks and credit unions to the military relief societies, help will be available.
The three amphibious ships, which the Navy says are carrying more than 4,500 sailors and Marines, could be seen leaving Norfolk on Sunday.
