A pouch this big would be pretty useless without all the thought Zulu put into the internal organization of the Mega Admin. Two bellowed pockets on the front give you fast access to  a notebook and pens on the left and a gadget on the right. That elasticized gadget pocket is great for a little Motorola radio or a handheld GPS. The full-sized Garmin GPSMAP 62 fit easily and the adjustable sleeve cover secured the unit in place. There's even a loop of webbing sewn to the cover for dummy cord security. Also on the outside are loops for chemlights and a loop on the bottom that can accommodate a tourniquet. On the back, the PALS field takes 4 long MALICE clips to secure the pouch to your host webbing.

Inside, the drawbridge opening is secured with a single cordlock that keeps the front flap from dumping your gear on the ground. The back panel is sewn with 3 pockets, each containing elastic webbing to secure the contents while a couple of plastic d-rings offer more dummy cordage. The inside, front-face is a pile field ready to take any Velcro fastened accessory you can throw at it including Zulu's own $15 add-on clear letter-sized map sleeve.

In use, the pouch feels bomber. It's 1000d Cordura and burly Lenzip zippers and heavy duty elastic webbing, all sewn in the US. All this burlyness weighs in at about

11 oz bare, or 15 oz. with the clear map sleeve. Not particularly light, but lighter than the weight of several pouches carrying the same amount of gear. Shoving it all in, the pouch holds smart cards, mapping and marking gear, tools and spare batteries while offering a drop-down platform for writing and navigation. Available from Zulu Nylon for $65 in coyote brown, OD green, black, MultiCam and Army UCP.
