Grey Ghost Gear just sent us one of their newest slings.  It is a 2 point adjustable sling using a heavy elastic material on both sides of the padding.  The use of heavy material in the "bungee" style sling is important as there are a few slings out there with a weak material that lets a weapon flop around even when tightened.  Its hard to get super excited about slings, especially as most slings become a matter of personal preference.  In the case of the GGG sling, the materials are solidly stitched, the padding is firm, and the sling works.  That is all I need a sling to do, work.

I won't try to "sell" anyone on the use of elastic sling material.  Some guys love it and feel it gives them a less restrictive loop around their body, which allows for weapon strikes which may otherwise be unpractical (aka muzzle thumping stupid people).  Other pluses include more dynamic (I hate using that term) movement, and the ability to sling up close against your body when you need your hands.  Detractors will say you lose the ability to wrap your arm with your sling to shoot with your weapon.   I personally don't agree, I can take this sling, and wrap it for stability without any problem.  The front portion of the sling doesn't stretch, and there is more than enough there to pull it around my elbow and forearm.  Maybe these guys do it different, but if it doesn't work for them it doesn't work.

The sling is shipping now, and is priced at $27.95.  It comes as shown, with the exception of the QD sling mounts which I threw on myself to try out on a few different carbines and rifles.  It looks like there are 500 in stock, and you can have any color you want, as long as its tan.  http://www.greyghostgear.com/new/2-point-sling
