The angled shapes and surfaces of the new INFORCE pistol light may feel familiar because its parent company is Emissive Energy, the same people that made all those INOVA LED pinchlights sold at exchanges. Emissive sold off the INOVA brand a while back but kept working on highly technical, hard-use lighting. One of their first products was the INFORCE Color, a multi-spectrum wunderlight that looked way different than all the other knurled aluminum-bodied lights out at the time. They later moved to weapon lights and introduced the Inforce WML. It's an unmistakable INFORCE design whose performance and features have made it a serious contender in the weapon mounted light market.
INFORCE doesn't appear to have time to pat itself on the back, though. They've released a photo of their latest project, the INFORCE pistol light. The photos were taken at the U.S. Army Maneuver Conference this week and posted over on their Facebook page. Details on the light are scant, but it looks like a single CR123 LED light. Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but showing it on a 92FS signals a continued effort to address the military market.
