The new Chris Reeve Sebenza 25 was released at the 2012 Blade Show with a number of modifications to the Sebenza 21 that include:
- a larger hollow grind to the blade
- more robust blade
- a new pivot with larger perforated washers to better move lint away from the pivot
- additional scalloping and chamfering of the grips
- removal of the lanyard tie bar with placement around the back spacer
- removal of the hole in the face scale
- re-designed thumb ramp
- standard double lugs
The first numbered twenty-four of the twenty-five 25th Anniversary Special Edition Graphic knives have shipped and only twenty-eight plain knives had shipped by December. CRK currently has orders for over six hundred Sebenza 25s. But there's good news, Anne Reeve says they are now in full production making about one hundred knives a month so we should start seeing some these newest Sebbies out in the wild in the coming weeks.
