Petzl adds reactive control to Tikka headlamp line

Petzl is bringing reactive control from the Nau headlamp to the compact Tikka series. The technology adjusts the intensity of the main white light to match the surrounding ambient light.

Other features are a new double lobe head strap, red strobe, infinitely adjustable white light between 8-135 lumens on the $75 R+ and 8-180 lumens on the $90, RXP. The lights charge via USB or run off a $10 accessory AAA adapter that offers 70% of the performance of the rechargeable battery pack pack. Look for them to hit in the fall.
