SureFire's brakes are extremely effective at mitigating recoil and muzzle rise. You only need to get on line next to someone shooting with one to appreciate how much pressure the ported, dual chamber brakes offset. The only major complaint has been the price.

SureFire's PRO COMP Muzzle brake is everything SureFire's SOCOM muzzle brakes is, minus the suppressor adapter. And at $59, it's also less than half the price.
