Magpul's tiny, tough MBUS Pro folding irons fit the bill for an unobtrusive set of sights that can be rapidly and reliably brought into service should something go wrong with a primary optic. Their new MBUS Pro Offset front and rear sights carry the same features as the original, just adding the benefit of use along with, instead of vice a primary optic.

The new sights combine the engagement speed of the competition bred Dueck Rapid Transition Sights with the invisible-'til-you-need-them size of the MBUS BUIS. I've shot plenty with Dueck's RTS setup and found rolling the rifle 45 degrees to engage a target that's too close for an optic feels very natural. Using offsets for an extended period as a replacement for a broken optic is very doable, but it will take a little getting used to.
Building on the proven MBUS Pro platform, the MBUS Pro Offset Sights – Front and Rear supplement magnified optics on M1913 Picatinny mounting surfaces. In the event of a damaged or nonfunctional primary optic, or a close target, rotating the rifle 45 degrees provides the shooter with a fully-featured iron sight. The Offset Sights have the same features as their brethren with Melonited steel construction, positive detented lockup, tool-less adjustments, and a low profile footprint.
The new MBUS Pro Offset front and rear sights are available for $85 and $105, respectively.
