Mantis Tech continues to accelerate the pace at which it provides real-time, data-driven feedback to shooters. With the flagship MantisX, over 10 million shots (live and dry fire) have been analyzed in 2018.

“This analysis ain’t from kiddos shooting bb guns in their Mama’s basement,” says Marketing Manager Casey Christensen. “We’re thrilled that MantisX is analyzing shooting for some of the top competitive shooters in the world, as well as countless law enforcement agencies and military personnel, including US Special Forces.”

The MantisX is a small, powerful precision sensing device that tracks the minutest of movements, collecting thousands of datapoints per second. Once rail-mounted, it analyzes shooter movements, and sends the data over Bluetooth to the MantisX app for smartphones and tablets.

“We’re just getting started,” says Christensen. “But we can already see fascinating trends with the volume of data that is analyzed. Not just which guns are shot better, or where shooters’ general weaknesses are, but we also clearly see one trend: improvement. That’s why we launched the first data-driven analytical device in this industry - and it’s tremendously gratifying to see tens of thousands of shooters rapidly improve.”
