Marine Corps leaders discussed the future of the nearly $11 billion dollar housing initiative at Washington's Modern Day Marine conference.
The service wants a constant Marine Expeditionary Unit presence on the high seas.
Soldiers with the division will help the Army determine how to modernize and evolve formations to prepare for real-world deployments.
Teams will now have 11 strength and conditioning coaches, with a requirement nixed for instructors overseen by the Defense Health Agency.
