U.S. military bunkers across the Middle East are getting new doors and added protection as recent events draw attention to indirect blast-related injuries.
An ex-Navy officer pleaded guilty to participating in an insurance fraud scheme that stole $2 million from a program meant to aid seriously injured trrops.
"The two critical factors are the degree to which the enemy or hostile force caused the wound, and whether the wound was so severe that it required treatment by a medical officer," according to the Army's MILPER message.
