Princeton University recently reversed its long-standing ban on transfer student admissions, in part to be able to enroll more veterans, who have often taken college courses during their military career. This marks the latest in a string of efforts by Ivy League institutions to make their campuses more accessible to veterans and, ultimately, grow the number of former service members within their ranks.
The Ivy League school will reopen its long-shuttered transfer program this fall and has acceptance letters out to 13 prospective students — the majority of whom have a military background.
