Noveske Rifleworks sent out a Press Release this afternoon, and the title sums it all up. In addition to hiring additional staff, Lorina Noveske (CEO) has promoted Sheri Johnson to the position of General Manager. Sheri is very well known in the industry, so we don't think this move comes as a shock to anyone. Sheri let us know that the plans John had already been working on for growth with the company are being implemented, and that Lorina brought a transition team on board to assist with this. GearScout had spoken to John Noveske last year and were aware of the start of larger operations, so it sounds to us like things are moving right along. GRANTS PASS, OR—March 26, 2013- Noveske Rifleworks CEO, Lorina Noveske, today announced promotions, transitions and growth for the company. With 250+ Noveske Rifleworks dealers, and a massive product demand, Lorina has made some immediate as well as long term changes to move forward with the vision she and John had when they started the company in 2001.
With the passing of John Noveske on the 4th of January this year, Lorina Noveske, John's wife and company co-founder has assumed control of Noveske Rifleworks, LLC. After taking some time to carefully evaluate the business, the industry, and how best to seize the future, Lorina decided to promote longtime employee, Sheri Johnson, to the position of General Manager. Sheri has been a part of the Noveske family for nearly ten years, and was taught by the man himself. "Sheri has helped us build this business from the ground up, she is an expert on our products, and has grown to become an iconic figure in the industry.", stated Lorina.
John had gained respect from such a wide spectrum of people in the industry that the business has been able to utilize those alliances to help maintain and move forward in the coming years. Lorina said, "It's important for us to continue working diligently to streamline our processes, enhance our vendor relations, and provide the same great customer support that we have in the past." In addition to naming a General Manager, Noveske has engaged a transition team with a strong background in manufacturing processes and operational structure, who will help guide the company through this new era.

Lorina is confident saying, "We may have lost John, but we have not lost sight of the fundamentals that John built the company on.
