Vertx released its line of bags at last year's SHOT Show, and this year we get to see how the product group is maturing and growing with several new releases. There have been no changes to the core line of bags.

The new additions, with the exception of the Gamut Plus Insert, are available in black and smoke gray (shown below). They include the EDC Ready Pack, left, which is smaller than the Gamut and Gamut Plus but has plenty of storage for daily use. For this $149.95 offering, Vertx concentrated on weight savings by removing some of the larger siblings; nonessential details. The EDC Transit Sling ($134.95)is very similar to the first-generation Commuter Sling, but a layer was removed to make the bag a bit more compact.

The EDC Essential Bag (below, left) is what you want when you want to carry your iPad vertically, with additional storage for  smaller items you may need throughout the day — the general purpose man-bag. The B-Range Bag (right) is a smaller cousin of the large A-Range bag. Sized along the lines of a qualifier bag, the B-Range bag isn't going to carry your entire pistol collection to the range, but it's perfect for the quick trip and will keep your essentials well organized. The EDC Essential has an MSRP of 109.95 and the B-Range has an MSRP of 159.95.
