Available in MultiCam, with coyote brown and urban wolf on the way, PLATEminus is designed to fit any SAPI/ESAPI style armor plates, with or without plate backers. It will come in two sizes, medium and large, to match SAPI/ESAPI plates. It has an inner plate pocket constructed of color matched CORDURA and Tweave that provides protection for the plate. It also provides enhanced signature reduction without the need for color matched rifle plates. The bottom of the carrier has a single PALS/MOLLE channel that's perfect for a toiriquet, flashlight or mag pouch.
As with all of BFG's MOLLEminus products, PLATEminus' weight reduction is realized by using channels laser cut from a single sheet of face fabric instead of sewn webbing to form a PALS/MOLLE platform. Further weight is saved by the use of 1" webbing to cinch the front and back instead of a cummerbund. The plate carrier weighs 335 grams.
