Sgt. Robert Lange usually uses FaceTime to watch his 9-year-old daughter’s cheer competitions from overseas, but when he heard that the other girls’ fathers were going to surprise the cheerleading club with their own routine, Lange knew he wanted to contribute.

The 30-year-old dad of two has been deployed to the Middle East for the past six months, and when the other soldiers in his unit found out what he was doing, they asked to join him.

The troops recorded their routine, which was played as a surprise at the cheer club event.

The result? One happy daughter. Read more of the story and watch the video here.
