Gannett Government Media has taken home two awards in the White House News Photographers Association's 2015 Eyes of History contest.
GGM's Product Development & Design Team took third place in the Best Multimedia Package category for "Arlington at 150: Celebrating America's Heroes," a tribute to Arlington National Cemetery on the 150th anniversary of its founding. This category includes in-depth multimedia packages that use a combination audio, video, still photography, graphics and/or animation in telling a story. The association also honored GGM staff photographer Mike Morones with an award of excellence in the picture story/sports category in the same contest.
